Vented Chest seals should be used when an open chest injury occurs. Chest seals work by closing the chest wall opening to keep collapsed lungs inflated. The Patent Pending 4 vent design is self-regulating to allow for the release of accumulated air or evacuation of blood and is effective in preventing the re-entry of air through the open chest wound.

Medical grade Hydrogel Adhesive Creates a superior seal, even in extreme cold and heat. The chest seal has transparent backing to allow placement directly over the wound and easily conform to the patient’s chest. The adhesive ensures a strong seal even when blood, sweat, hair, sand and water are present. Clean and dry the area around the wound as much as possible before applying the chest seal.

Simply peel and apply for fast and effective results. The 6-inch round seal has a large tab for easy use and removal. Each chest seal comes in a lightweight, vacuum sealed, puncture resistant, easy to open package.
